Dr Yanyan Tjioe is a dedicated obstetrician and gynaecologist passionate about providing exceptional and compassionate management for expectant parents. She is committed to working closely together with prospective parents to provide personalised care. Dr Tjioe obtained her medical degree at the University of Western Australia and completed her obstetric and gynaecology training at various hospitals in Queensland across metro, regional and rural settings. She has been with the Mater Mothers Hospital since 2021 and has experience supporting expectant parents presenting with a range of complexities. She is fluent in conversational Chinese and incorporates an understanding of the challenges that culturally and linguistically diverse parents can encounter in health care with professionalism and compassion. In her free time, Dr Tjioe enjoys taking long walks with her groodle and exploring and appreciating global cuisines and cultures.
